HOME STRETCH!!!!

Tomorrow is my summer school exam. I can't say I'm looking forward to it, but I can say that I'm extremely excited about the upcoming, math-free August. Here are things that I hope to do in the following weeks:

1) Film the movie (screenplay is ALMOST DONE)...it's an adaptation of Roald Dahl's Lamb to the Slaughter...I don't have editing equipment or even a camera battery but WHO THE HELL CARES! I figure I'd be better going with the Troma Films philosophy of quantity over quality and just film something already.

2) Watching MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my God, I've barely scratched my list. I've seen the Godfather movies (BRILLIANT! btw...even though I didn't really care for the third one...more on that later), Touch of Evil (equally brilliant, but Charlton Heston as a Mexican? Puh-leeze), and Fahrenheit 9/11 (exactly what you'd expect from a Michael Moore movie...that's a compliment or an insult, depending on how you see it. I can't say I was swayed by his arguments, probably because I was questioning their credibility most of the time. As a movie, it was very powerful, as a documentary? Well...time and research will show whether it really deserves that title. But who cares? Michael Moore's made MILLIONS.)

Other movies on my PRIORITY list are:

- Bonnie and Clyde
- Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy (I've heard good things)
- Chinatown
- Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2
- The French Connection
- Les Liasons Dangereuses
- Rosemary's Baby
- Mean Streets
- The Village (well, actually, ALL of M. Night Shyamalan's movies since the Sixth Sense, which I thought was great)
- Garden State
- To Catch a Thief
- A Clockwork Orange
- A Dog Day Afternoon (AL PACINO!!!! : ) )
- Dr. Strangelove
- Anything by Monty Python (Holy Grail...what more can I say? There's a reason it's a classic.)
- Harold and Kuman go to Whitecastle (C'MON...don't make fun. You know you wannnnaaaa too.)

And to think...this is just what I'm thinking of RIGHT NOW. No doubt, more will be added later.

3) Sleep. Oh GOD...Sleep.

4) Run. I've got to lose weight...I'm starting to look pudgy. (Starting...HA!)

5) Think of other things to do.

Ok, I'm sick of typing. I'm OUTTIE!

Signed,

X
